Yoon Gyeom is a loyal subject of King Jungjong of Joseon. He struggles to fight against a monster that threatens King Jungjong’s life and a group of people trying to depose King Jungjong.
Set during the Joseon dynasty, this monster flick is the first Korean film to combine the genre’s over-the-top fun with a fascinating historical setting. While the impressive visual effects conjure up a genuinely scary creature, the blend of humor and mysterious awe keeps viewers on their toes.
