Forced to flee Spain, petty criminal Inaki pays a visit to his estranged father, Patxi in Mexico. MUBI's take

The sophomore feature by Mexican director Beto Gomez (Saving Private Perez) is this sublime dark comedy shot on 16mm black-and-white film. Featuring a delightful sense of humor, surreal characters, and a bittersweet final act, Caiman’s dream is at once a rocky romance and a subtle family tale.
