Synopsis

In a true case during the Estado Novo in 1937, Joaquim and Sebastião Naves report a man who runs away with money from a rice crop. They go from accusers to defendants due to the police lieutenant’s investigation. Arrested and tortured, they confess to a crime they didn’t commit.
