Jorge is an Ecuadorian immigrant who works as a dishwasher in a Queens diner. Constantly harassed by the restaurant’s manager, he yearns for romance with the new waitress, Amy. Hampered by his severe shyness, he finds himself caught between real life and a number of parallel fantasy lands.
