Living in Mexico with a top-ten hit under their belts, the Leningrad Cowboys have fallen on hard times. But when their manager, who has become a delusional self-proclaimed prophet, secures a gig for the band on Coney Island, they must illegally cross the Mexico-United States border to get there.
The boys are back in town for this rowdy sequel to Leningrad Cowboys Go America. With half the band killed off by some dodgy tequila, the remainder take to the road for a deliriously dippy satire of communism and religion. Aki Kaurismäki plays the hits, but the gags come thick and fast.
