Synopsis

In Italy’s Alfina Plateau, hazelnut monoculture is destroying the local landscape. To pay homage to the farmers resisting change, JR and Alice Rohrwacher staged a funeral for peasant agriculture where workers carried enormous silhouettes of agriculturalists made by JR on their shoulders.
