Talia is 13. She gets into a fight with her stepfather and runs away, taking her dog Kim with her. She heads for the projects in Pantin, near Paris, to hook up with a friend. But he has moved to a foster home. Eventually, Talia meets four funny, smart kids her age, who seem to like her.
