Luzimar and Gildo were born in Cataguases and grew up together. Luzimar stayed in the city, and works at a cotton factory. Gildo went to São Paulo, where he found success. When he returns to visit, the two meet again. Washed down with drink, memories, regrets and grudges, two lives are reevaluated.
