After a suicide attempt, Lucía needs to find new meaning in her life in order to move on and face the loss of her son. She assists a therapy group for parents, finding small miracles and new ways of healing on an unexpected journey that will lead her to rediscover her place among the living.
Told in three parts, The Dream of Lu is a film dealing with grief: a visually haunting, moving melodrama that sometimes diverts into surrealism. The second feature from Carlos Sama—who received an honorable mention at Mexico’s Morelia International Film Festival & has been compared to Kieslowski!
