‘’What is to be done?’’ is the question on the minds of three women with artistic and creative professions in temporary living conditions in Berlin. They spend the remaining days in their old flat with friends, celebrations, discussions and the strong feeling of the dawning of a new era.
In this playfully surrealist film-within-a-film from German director Irene von Alberti, three women experiment with living a liberated, creative, and politically engaged life. A rapidly gentrifying Berlin is the evocative backdrop to heated discussions on feminism, activism, and art-making.
