Yesu is a child bride, married to the son of a lecherous old man who threatens to rape her. After killing the old man, she hides in a disused warehouse where she is protected but sexually exploited by Edekar, her caretaker. One morning, Edekar opens the warehouse to find Yesu has hanged herself.
A reflection on the world where there is no room to be and no place safe for a woman. The warehouse becomes a metaphor for the societal oppression and claustrophobia, women experience. The only feature film directed by leading Marathi-English writer, filmmaker, and painter Dilip Chitre.
