Kostis is a 40-year-old doctor who moves to the small island of Antiparos in order to take over the local clinic. His whole life and routine will turn upside down when he meets an international group of young hard-partying tourists, including Anna, a 19-year-old goddess he falls in love with.
Although one of its lesser-known contestants, Argyris Papadimitropoulos’ cinema is undoubtedly part of the Greek Weird Wave, with its unsettling tales of odd characters. In sharp contract with the idyllic and youthful vibes of summer, middle age is here portrayed in a harsh and dark reality.
