When a break-in occurs at a secretive genetics institute, blind puzzle-maker Franco, who overheard an attempt to blackmail one of the institute’s scientists, teams up with reporter Carlo to crack the case. As bodies begin to pile up, the amateur sleuths find their own lives imperilled.
