A factory in Mexico City. The employees are winding down for the weekend, however, a shocking event breaks their routine: their beloved boss is found dead. In a state of confusion, fear and grief they decide to hide his death and lock themselves in their workplace to play out an improbable solution.
Joaquin del Paso’s eccentric dramedy has an intimate understanding of capitalistic spaces and the futility of dismantling such oppressive constructs. Amidst forbidding assembly lines and cluttered offices, the characters behave like irrational, Buñuelesque captives to hilarious and chilling ends.
