Synopsis

In a series of comic vignettes, various well-known actors and musicians sit down to talk about almost anything—from Tesla coils to jukeboxes, long-lost relatives to the dentist. The conversations are separate in time and place, but they all have two things in common: coffee and cigarettes.

Made over 15 years, this cooler-than-cool compilation by Jim Jarmusch is a veritable buffet of deadpan comedy and an extended jam session with the hippest cast of the ‘00s, from RZA and GZA to Bill Murray and the White Stripes. To quote Iggy Pop: "Cigarettes and coffee, man, that’s a combination."
